29/5/1989 - 29/3/1998 and 29/11/2003 - 28/10/2007: Agriculture engineer in the District Laboratory of Agricultural Extension and Fertilizer Analysis (P.E.G.E.A.L.), Xylokastro, Greece, responsible for a. chemical analyses of plant (leaf analysis), soil and water samples, b. fertilization recommendations, c.  parasitic and non-parasitic diseases diagnosis and control, and d. research projects related to: a) pre-harvest ‘rind spotting’ in ‘Clementine’ mandarins, b) rind-spotting in grapes (var. Soultanina) and c) “Sustainable fertigation techniques for vegetable production in Greece”, a project financed by the European Commission (Framework Programme 6; Marie Curie - Transfer of Knowledge) between Holland (Αpplied Plant Research-Division Glasshouse Horticulture, University of Wageningen) and Greece (Olive and Horticultural Crops Institute of Kalamata, N.AG.RE.F.). In the second period (29/11/2003 - 28/10/2007) in P.E.G.E.A.L., I had participated to the implementation of the accreditation of the Laboratory according to the quality system ISO/IEC 17025, as well.
