Dr. Theofanis I. Aravanis serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Digital Systems at the University of the Peloponnese, Greece. He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Patras (2012), an M.Sc. from the National Technical University of Athens (2014), an M.B.A. from the University of Patras (2016), and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Patras (2019), specializing in Knowledge Representation and Reasoning. His research interests lie in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Electromechanical Systems. Dr. Aravanis has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in major European and national research projects, and was awarded a scholarship by the State Scholarship Foundation (IKY) to conduct postdoctoral research at the University of Patras. He has extensive academic teaching experience, having independently taught both undergraduate and graduate courses, and has supervised more than 20 Diploma Theses. Dr. Aravanis has published over 40 scientific articles in leading peer-reviewed journals and conferences (including numerous monographs), and has authored 2 University Textbooks. He is a regular member of the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society (EETN), the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), and the Cybersecurity, Hardware, AI, and Networks Laboratory (CHAIN Lab) of the Department of Digital Systems at the University of the Peloponnese.
