Georgia Fragaki studied linguistics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (BA, 2002; MA, 2005; PhD, 2010). Her PhD thesis explored the role of adjectives in evaluation and ideology in opinion articles. She has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses on linguistics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Hellenic Open University, and the University of the Peloponnese. She has worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the project “Diachronic Corpus of Greek of the 20th century” at the Department of Linguistics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2013-2015). She is co-author of the book Introduction to Corpus Linguistics (2015, in Greek, in cooperation with Dionysis Goutsos) and co-editor of the volume Current Trends in Greek Linguistics (2012).
